_April.21.2010 _ New website design.

Yes, a new assignment that got me way into Javascript and frames and stuff inspired me to re-do my website.
The site is now gradually changing from an on-line portfolio that shows everything I've done, into a well thought-out selection of projects I feel good enough about to share.
Jana Flohr is making choices, and a story that has a certain direction is developing.

There will be more changes to this website done over the coming weeks, so it might be worth checking in again in due time.

_April.02.2010 _ New project: Meubelpimpparade!

Today I got the wonderful news that I am selected to participate in a new 'Kunstenaars&Co' project called the 'Meubelpimpparade' ('Furniture Pimp parade).
20 Selected designers will all get a second-hand piece of furniture assigned to pimp out.

The result will be showcased on different location throughout Amsterdam from May 15th, followed by a final exhibition at the Bloeifeest on 28-29-30 May at Park Frankendael in East Amsterdam, where the pieces will be auctioned off for a good cause on May 30th.

_ March.10.2010 _ Slimming down and broadening the view.

As you might notice there have been quite some changes to this website. Suddenly a lot of the projects previously featured went 'missing', as did the 'for sale' section.
Well, of course they did not actually go missing, but they moved.

From last month I have been working on a new website called 'thedriftwood.nl', from now on that will be the place to present my product- and jewellery designs, while this 'Janaflohr' website focusses more on public space, conceptual event design and art projects.

Two fresh starts, and two distinct stories, hopefully both equally prosperous.
